Ocean Eagle
Ocean Eagle was purchased in October 2005. Built by Image Marine, the 18.3 metre aluminium mono hull vessel was built to operate in the extreme conditions of the Southern Ocean. Fitted with water ballast tanks that allow an increase in displacement of the vessel, she can operate in adverse sea conditions that would otherwise prevent successful survey. She boasts large load carrying capacity, airconditioned live aboard capability and moon pools for multi beam and single beam transducer mounting. She has operated on projects around Australia primarily as a hydrographic survey and personnel transfer vessel.
